Can the Suunto SK7 be attached to any console? (I have an older Genesis console, and I am looking for a gauge with a good tilt angle.)

No, I don't think so..... It is very unique design. There are two kinds, top mount and back mount for the cosole configuration.

It would be DIY if you mounted it to your Genenis. I don't think that it would be all that hard to do. Cut the straps off the wrist mount and glue it to the console.

Buy, the question is if it is worth to do instead of Tobin's mounting base.

To me, no it isn't worth the hassle versus Deep Sea Supply's conversion but I don't mind it on my wrist were as sgj wants it on the console. I thought about the conversion and then mounting it for sgj but I don't see the need to spend another $12(?) if he is going to mount it on the console.
