Sounds like time for a factory service.

take it that isnt covered under warranty?

Something similar happened to my Suunto D6. Should be covered under suunto's 2 year warranty. It starts from your purchase date if you have your receipt, otherwise if they can look up manufacturing date. If your lucky, it will have been produced less than 2 years ago if you don't have your receipt.

Might be another Suunto who's pressure transducer has started to die. If you dig through this forum (Computers etc.) you'll see somewhat similar discussions revolving around other Suunto models at least every month or so.

My mosquito started doing the same thing this year on a trip and a buddy said his did also. If you have your receipt you can probably get an upgrade. Apparently this was a fairly common problem. When I called Aqualung they said if it was under 4or 5 years old they could prorate it. If I were you I would not wait to do something. I did a second dive trip with mine after it acted up and it flooded...drowned, dead, argh!!. Mine was older and I did not have the receipt so too bad for me...
I am now shopping for a new wrist mount. I had to do some research to find out it was Aqualung that was now responsible.
Good Luck!!

Yeah!!!
Good for you.
