I just don't log dives
Hi, do we have here someone from Suunto that monitor this forum?

I am a Suunto user / diver for over 20 years now. Most of Suunto's line of computers does not support BT or any new connectivity options. But even the old USB cable - is just wrong.
1. USB cable driver does not support windows 11. Need to disable some security setting or download some driver manually to bypass the issue. Windows 11 is not a new OS and all manufacturers should already be aligned with it.
2. Finally managed to download dives to DM5. To transfer them the the app - I need another Suunto software (suuntolink) just for it.
3. With my old computer, I have used for many years the SDM v1.6 coz it was most comfortable for me, with DM5 i cannot add details to the dives, such as dive site, buddy, dive center etc...
4. After transferring dived to the app - i can add a few details (not as much as SDM v1.6), but i don't have a "history" of it. So I need to enter the same dive site repeatedly. With the old software there was a dropdown with prev. data.

So now it's 2025. Don't we deserve a better connectivity with our dive computer?

P.S, i also dive with a shearwater computer. but still love the value-for-money and functionalities of the Suunto.
