Suunto D9 Dive Alarm Symbol

I just purchased a Suunto D9 dive computer and when it came out of the box it had the dive Alarm symbol lit up. This is in the upper left hand corner and looks like a radio tower, sideways -- not the Triangular Dive Alert symbol.

I'm sure that I must have something set (like depth alarm maybe?), but am not sure how to get it to go away.

Any ideas?

I believe the factory settings have the depth and duration dive alarms at pre-set levels...so it's indicating you have dive alarms set.

Right on. I turned off the depth alarm and it went away. I was worried that I was about set off on a trip and have it pack-in on me !!

Glad to help. I ordered mine from Richard (divetank.net) on Saturday, called and changed the order Monday morning...and I received it on Wednesday -- just in time for my dives this weekend in the Keys.

Can't wait to see how it goes...
