Suunto D4i usb connection cable confusion

Hi there

I understood the connection kit was sold separately but I had a USB cable included with my watch, one end regular USB to computer. the other end was a special connector that matches the port on the right side of the watch.

Problem is, the connector will not firmly attach or snap into place and doesn't seem to fit.

Any ideas on this? very confused! image below

Figured it out - you need to align the dots then firmly twist clockwise to lock the cable.
