Suunto D4: No Average Depth in Logbook? (Is this a Bug?)

After diving with a Zoop for around a year (which I was very happy with), I purchased a D4 (also have a Stinger).

Oddly, the D4 does not show average depth in the logbook; but the Zoop. Stinger and other Suuntos show Average Depth in the logbook.

Is my D4 defective, or is it correct that the D4 simply does not show average depth in the logbook like other Suunto dive computers?

For some reason, the dot matrix screen suuntos (D4, D6, D9 and Vyper/Cobra) do not show average depth in the log book. Dunno why, maybe an evil plot to get you to pay for the PC download cable.

Since I need average depth in the logbook, anyone want to buy an almost new D4 with only a handful of dives, still without a scratch on it LOL?
