I want to surprise my wife with a surprise Honeymoon for our upcoming anniversay. I thought I would ask the Pros. She doesnt dive but loves the shallows, and the pool. A spa would be nice for her while I get one or two 2 tankers in.

We have done Freeport and she thought it was nice. I would like to hear from someone who's visited one or more of the above.

Thanks:)

If you go to Nassau, I had a great time at both Atlantis and the Radisson Cable Beach. The Radisson has an all inclusive deal and you can eat, drink and be merry as much as you want without breaking out the wallet again. Plenty of romantic stuff there too.

If she lets you sneak away to do some diving you can book some cool dives through Stuart Coves or Bahama Divers. They have trips that both snorkelers and divers go out on the same boat too.

PS. Technically, Atlantis is on Paradise Island, but it's pretty much the same thing. You cross a small bridge from Nassau to get there.

PPS. As you can tell from my user name I am not a woman, I am however a romantic at heart.

Whichever one you pick, I hope you two have a great time.

It's almost a ritual to get certified before your honeymoon.
Couldn't tell you about above.
Next honeymoon I'll might go here.

C-card isn't an issue but Lil Torch Key just eased into the pack by a nose. Big thumbs up on that . Thanks:)

I am partial to Nassau myself, this is the first place that I was ever able to get my wife to go in the water with me at, even though it was just to snorkel. Once she went though, she was hooked and has not looked back since!!!

I'm partial to Grand Cayman over Nassau, although we have not been to Aruba yet .... Grand Cayman was what got us both into diving ... we were snorkeling off Eden Rock and saw a group of divers way down below ..... once we got home my hubby kept pestering me to try out diving .... so we both signed up, and are now addicts like everyone else around here!! The beaches are beautiful, the shopping is great and the people are wonderful.

As a diver I am partial to Grand Cayman, but I've heard that there is little to do there other than dive. On the up side that leaves lots of cozy time for us, but I would feel a lot better if my wife could shop and spa while I'm under. This gives me a little more information;)

I can't comment on any of the locations you have metioned, as I have not had the luxury of visiting them, however, if this is a surprise, she'll be over the moon where ever you take her.

I love Grand Cayman, and there are certainly places for snorklers, but if your wife isn't a diver, there isn't much else on the island. What about a cruise that make some stops for your diving and her shopping/etc. At least that way there were be other activities for her to do while you get your dives in. Certainly out of Ft. Lauderdale there must be a million and one to choose from. If this is truly a surprise honeymoon, I would suggest picking something that she would enjoy doing with you and/or have other activities to choose from.
