Surface Marker - Webbing Deployment System - WDS ™

For most divers that have not had the benefit of technical diver training, sending up a Safety Sausage from your Safety Stop depth can be daunting task.

The WDS ™ was designed in order to create a safer and simpler process for deploying a Safety Sausage / Delayed Surface Marker Buoy from your Safety Stop depth at 5m (15ft).
While reels and spools are very useful tools, they require a significant amount of training and skill to be used safely, and are now unecessary just to deploy a SMB from your Safety Stop depth.

View a short video clip of the deployment here: http://www.surfacemarker.com

By setting up the WDS in the manner described in the Instructions http://www.surfacemarker.com/content/view/17/59/lang,en/, your WDS does not need to be unfurled or unrolled before deployment. There are no moving parts or knobs that need to be adjusted before deployment.

The Surface Marker WDS come as a complete unit with a 210 Denier Safety Suasage, Carry Pouch and the WDS and do not need any modifications or the purchase of additional reels or
spools to be used.

Note: Surface Marker WDS is designed for recreational diving use only and is not designed for technical or decompression diving purposes where deeper decompression stops need to be made.
