Well, I am not sure on this one...There are different opinions on this. But Feb 6th is a official holiday due to the local elections. Check with the hotels and bars. They are trying to lift the ban on alcohol....

I just heard today that The french Quarter, All Sports Bar are doing the Private Party
gig on Super Bowl Sunday. All Sports is charging 50usd for 2 people min consumption at their place. French Quarter is having a Private Party. I do not know about the cover. You can just show up before the game and when the place is full, they will have to close doors to make it Private...
