Hey old timers...... Anyone ever actually use one of these things? It looks like the unholy union of a double house regulator, a full face mask, wings and a dry snorkel. I saw it on ebay while looking for a double hose reg in the vintage category. Googled it and found the fully assembled rig at vintagescuba.com.

I hope it has one way valves in the hoses, 'cause that is a lot of dead air space to sucking air through. At least you won't sink or suck water when you pass out from to much carbon dioxide being recycled through the tubes.

Might be worth buying just to freak people out with swimming around in it!!

That does look like a lot of dead air space. Kind of cool aside from that though.

What I wouldn't give to show up for a DIR class or FUNDI's class with that !!!!

After all, it is a set of twins . . . and it looks as if it has a hose coming off each post.

Hey, not knocking DIR, just think it would be a super hoot . . .

I actually remember seeing those when I was a kid and wanting one so badly I could smell the air inside the mask!!
