I have NEVER seen a "vintage" regulator set in such great condition. Of course, it functions flawlessly. No corrosion anywhere on the set. I'm sorry about the reflections, the chrome is that shiny!! It looks like someone used it once or twice, cleaned it REALLY well, and then put it away in a dive bag without a case where it bumped around and got the marks on the face of the second stages. I considered trying to polish them up a bit, but they're so clean that I couldn't bear to take the risk! As a testament to how clean this set is, the inside of the inflator hose looks like it's brand new. The little ball bearings are chrome shiny. The pressure gauge and compass that it came with have paper manufacturer's stickers from March/April 1997, and they look like they've never touched water.
