Anyone know the story behind this? I am staying at Cantamar which is three buildings south of Villa Aldora. The boat is either off their dock or next door.

There were three divers attaching the orange buoys when I took this pic 10 minutes ago. They have gone back to shore.

Yes, not a big deal. The responsible employee did not bring the small chase boat in as expected, now undergoing some embarrassment. Good news this is not one of Aldora's main boats and its two stroke motor is being cleaned and should be ready to go tomorrow. The rest is just fiberglass and all will be good to go when the norte dies down.

Glad it's not one of the main boats - but this affects everyone because it's just more ammunition for the Harbor Master to use against opening port tomorrow.

Should have been brought to harbor…stupidity of its captain. Should not reflect on anyone.

Was there the other day, I almost think the motor wasn't on it.... Maybe it was.....

How quickly we forget how narrow minded the harbor master is - boat sinking = (automatically means) dangerous conditions - small craft advisory

Fortunately we are getting a new Harbor Master in the next few weeks

Dear Christy,

Do you really expect better? We've had twenty Port Captains in my last 27 years and never would I have expected better. Of course we can always hope, this one is a female.

You have a solid point Dave - haha! Merry Christmas in case I don't get the chance to tell you!
