There will be a group of us heading over to Casino Point dive park Saturday the 30th.

Rumor says it's someones birthday too. Please feel free to join us for day of diving and fun.

More the merrier.:D

Well, you picked the very day I'm flying to Florida to spend quality time with Mom. However, my flight is late evening so I should be able to come down to the park for some of the festivities... but, of course, no diving!

Well, looks like 8 or more going to be there....anyone else we should look to say howdy to?

Ratz. got visitors from down under coming and we're heading to the Grand Canyon.
Let me know when the winter kick off dive is going to be.

Hmm shore dive at Shaws cove or Casino Point. Well if the wife let's me have an advance on next weeks lunch money I might be able to head out. Time and me up location for Sat dive? Got a full tank and some new jet fins I need to try out...

Freezerbrn; Some are going over onthe 6:15 am Express and others on the 8:30...return 3:45, 6:00, or 7:30 pm..... In other words, when you make it there will be someone to dive with...
Hope you can make it.
Venom; one of these days soon, I hope...seems we keep hitting the wrong weekend.

Wow, what an awsome day of diving at the park..... few of us ignored the threat of rain and braved the storm on the way to the Express...but as soon as it was boarding time the rain stopped and by the time we hit Catalina we had blue skys that stayed with us for the whole day.
Viz was between 20' and 30' and 57* to 62*F at depth. Saw the usual on all three dives but the highlight was my first close encounter with the black bass! :D Now I understand when divers call the them the "gentle giant". It only took me 5 years and 150+ dives in Catalina to see my first and I hope there will many more. Over all, another wonderfull day diving, meeting new friends, and just plain getting wet. And met one of my customers in an OW class...yeah another future dive buddy.
