I plan to be in Puerto Vallarta in early October 2022 for some sailing. Should I dive? Where should I dive? What should I dive? What operation do you recommend? ..thanks in advance .

Hey there - did you end up diving in/around PV? Did you get any tips, or might you have some for me regarding good outfits and dive sites? Cheers, Paul

Just dove Los Archos. Dive conditions were poor. Visibility 5-10 ft the thermocline at 60 with 63 degree F at depth. Dove with Vallarta Adventures. Was not impressed with the operation

Dive master indicated similar conditions at other sights. And 3 weeks ago conditions were 40+ feet at the same locations

I was originally certified at Los Arcos. I haven't felt an urge to go back. Perhaps the fact that no one answered the original post sends a message.

Quite a few years at a party at my house, one of the guests was talking about diving as if he was quite an experienced diver. At one point he said that his favorite dive site was Los Arcos in Puerto Vallarta. My immediate thought was that he had just announced that he really didn't have much dive experience after all.

We purchased a 2 tank dive and opted to forgo the second dive. Hopefully our experience was not the norm but we were frustrated that we had asked about the conditions prior to booking and were miss informed.
