Hi all,

I'm looking for your suggestions for a replacement corrugated hose and power inflate assembly to fit a Tusa Conquest BCD (BJC-7000M). I am not necessarily looking for a Tusa part as I gather a lot of these are not interchangeable (different thread counts and pitch) and I'm pretty put off by the brand given the low support available for their components in the UK. Mine has an unreliable Active Purge Assist power inflate assembly and I want to replace it with a more reliable unit.
  • Hose/elbow arrangement: I aim to keep the combined shoulder dump (with pull-to-dump feature) and elbow where the current corrugated hose attaches. Where the existing hose fits the elbow is an oval with inner diameter of 15 x 19 mm (0.59 × 0.75 inch). This means a standard circular cross section hose of 17 mm (0.67 inch) internal diameter could conform to it, however I can't find hoses with this inner diameter?
  • Inflator requirements: the power inflate assembly needs to have an attachment point for the pull-to-dump. As the club I dive with uses Scubapro T-One BCDs, I'd not be averse to using a Scubapro BCD Balanced Power Inflator but the hose's internal diameter is too large to fit the Tusa elbow.
Any recommendations or suggestions on how to sort this?
