Hi all, both of my Perdix cases have lost the zipper pulls (corroded off...) and the official case from Shearwater feels overpriced at $20+ USD. I'm inclined to get a cheap multimeter case off Amazon and stick both inside, but am curious if any of you have found a more compact and durable solution. I expect the zipper will corrode off the Amazon case rather quickly.

Thanks!

I don't use the boxes they come in for actually transporting the computers for diving. I find them far too bulky. I keep my Perdix 2s in these cheap padded bags in my boat backpack. One computer per bag.

I use a small Pelican case with foam that holds both computers, AI Pods, spare batteries, and tools. It takes a beating better than the SW cases, and no zippers, better protection.

I have at least 3 or 4 excess Shearwater cases. I'll be more than happy to send you a pair. (for the cost of shipping)

I'm in Seattle, so it won't be much. Send me a DM and I can price you a shipping label to your zip.

My computers get transported in hard plastic food storage containers. If you're OCD like me, you can spend your free time searching the internet and the real world for the container with the perfect dimensions for your computer.

The pulls or sliders? I ask because the pulls can easily be replaced with cord. If the sliders well then that is more problematic.

In the past I have used smaller Pelican cases for my mine but now with transmitters we use the case (for now). I need to find a better solution as we have two and want to consolidate the bulk.

'Also fits my analog compasses: Ripple Reel Case

I use a travel case for a Nintendo Switch from FiveBelow; $5.55. Holds my Perdix, Teric, Excursion computers, plus flat charger, clip, cables, spare batteries, battery tool.

Wrap in something protective and stick in your fins if diving locally and just driving to dive site.
