Subscription to threads

I have looked all over my settings and cannot find anything concerning automatic subscription to threads in which I post.

I am getting inundated with email every so many days concerning the threads I have posted in. I emptied my subscriptions folder but would like to no be automatically subscribed to every thread I post on.

I cannot find any checkboxes in the reply area that I could uncheck.

How can I fix this so that I do not get piles of emails? Thanks1


BTW, I went RED this morning

On your User CP page, select Edit Options under Settings & Options on the left, scroll down and select No Email Notification as the default for subscribed threads.

Alternatively, you can turn it off for individual threads on your subscribed threads page by checking it's box, then selecting No Email Notification in the box at the bottom right of the screen and hitting Go.
