Submerge Scooters Minnus 1.0 DPV (almost new) for Sale

Hi, I bought the Minnus 1.0 DPV in October 2018 new from Submerge Scooters (receipt available). It has only been used in the pool a couple of times: never in a lake or ocean.

all I can say is good luck at that price given the current state of SS and the fact that batteries are not available for it and it is going to need one soon.

You may well be right. What is the current state of SS? Why would it need a new battery since it hasn't been used? Is it just aging? Thanks for the input.

SS is basically done between a combo of the divorce and the kids deaths and I don't really see it coming back. Batteries age unfortunately and lack of cycling is not great for them, they don't enjoy sitting around.
Used Valkyries, basically a Minnus 2.0 with the updated speed controller go for around $4k on the used market.

The other thing that has killed the market for scooters like the Minnus 1.0 is the Blacktip which brand new is around $2k all in and does what the Minnus does in a smaller/lighter package and that really shook up the used DPV market a few years ago.

wow, great choice! thankfully you can get it as a charitable donation but they will definitely be able to put it to use!
