Hi,

I have just started diving and I'm considering getting my own gear and I saw this on offer - Deportes Agua - Pack Regulador SCD100 INT

It say it is suitable for beginners, does anyone know anything about decathlons own brand regulators?
I'm I just being dumb but why does it not have a low pressure hose for the BCD?

Thanks

Do you have a local Subea dealer nearby for the annual service? I don't read that language so can't offer an opinion.

Given where you live according to your profile - I'd look hard at a lower end Apeks model. :Likely not as cheap but serviced at any Apeks/Aqualung dealer worldwide.
I consider them one of the top 5 regulator brands - if I wasn't several thousand miles closer to another - Atomic Aquatics - I might be diving Apeks..

Every regulator is suitable for beginners - that seems like marketing hype.

It says that it's for beginners because it's a non balanced piston first stage. A very old design and not recommended for deep dives.
A regulator can last decades if properly cared.
I would go for known brands and at least the first stage should be balanced and (at least to my preference) diaphragm.
Also, as has already been said, service is quite important. Be sure that there is a local dealer or representative that can service your regulator. It's better to buy a used serviceable reg set than an unknown new.

OR....given the current price of about 120euros...buy the reg set and use it for 2-3 years and then sell it.

The average cost for service of regulator set here in Western Europe is roughly 100 euros +/- (25-35 euros per stage plus the cost of the parts kits).
