Hi guys,

Just returned from Nassau. Did an amazing 13 dives there, in a span of 5 days. HAD TO LOSE MY CANON SD800 IS and its housing in the Lost Blue Hole, on my very first dive. Gosh, it was painful, especially since the camera was a Christmas gift...

Anyways, I am looking at 4 setups now.

1) Canon SD800 IS with the WP-DC9 housing, with a Sealife SL960D
2) Canon SD800 IS with the Ikelite Housing, and a Sealife SL960D
3) Sealife DC500 with the Sealife SL960D
4) SEA AND SEA DX750G with the YS15 Auto Light Package

I was just wondering which would be a better option. And also, is the SeaLife SL960D strobe compatible with the Ikelite and/or Canon housing? I really liked the Canon SD800 IS, function wise, and am leaning towards that, but do the SeaLife and Sea and Sea cameras function as well on land?

Thanks for your input!

i would go with the Canon

I am not a big fan of the Sealife strobe either as the slave function seems to have a lot of problems.

I would look at something like the Sea and Sea DX27 for a strobe..
