Haven't found anything on this topic in a search. My wife has a fantasea RX100iii housing, in fine condition, but she broke the little shutter that covers the RX100 lens such that you have to jiggle it with your finger to get it to open when powering on. Obviously, not good for a housed camera. But, I have an RX100v (with glued on grip) that I will separate from the grip if it would work in the fantasea housing. Any ideas if the RX100v can be stuffed into a mkiii housing successfully for dive use?

I have a feeling that you are going to lose a lot of functionality regarding the buttons and interface.

Meikon's fitting guide for their universal (M1-M5) housing (link) doesn't show any differences between M3, M4 and M5, whereas M1 and M2 require swapping parts, so there's a good chance M5 will fit into an M3 housing.

I called Fantase about the difference between the IV and V housing and they said I would lose functionality with the RX V using the IV housing. Assuming the same would be true with the III housing.
