Hi,
I have a Sony camera (DSC-T100) and housing (MPK-THD) and I am trying to find what strobe components will work for this setup.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have a Sony camera (DSC-T100) and housing (MPK-THD) and I am trying to find what strobe components will work for this setup.
That's older gear, but I have friends who use it without a strobe with good results. In April 2010 I dove in Moalboal, Philippines with a guy who had one, and his results were great, still and video. I was surprised, in fact. The nice thing is it's so compact you can tuck it in a BCD pocket.

If you really want a strobe, I suggest a very inexpensive strobe and tray like the Intova ISS200 strobe and Intova Stayslim tray. You can find them on eBay from Adorama (about $130 for strobe) and Cameta (about $30 for tray). The strobe fires when your camera flashes, boosting the flash. Recycle time is long, 8 seconds, and not very powerful, but it's cheap and seems to work OK.
