Anybody know of a strobe that is compatible for a Canon Powershot A40 with DC-200s underwater housing? Please help! I'm going to the DR soon!

Thanks!

The Sea & Sea digital strobes, such as the YS-90DX, or YS-25DX should both work well. You need a strobe that will not be fooled by the preflash used by all Canon digital cameras. This is a flash fired a millisecond or so before the main flash and used for white balance and metering. I had tried the Ikelite DS125 but it wouldnt deliver any more light than the internal strobe did when used with the Canon S40. (It worked fine with my Nikon Coolpix 990, though.)

You can view my setup with the Sea & Sea YS90Dx at
