I’m asking $320. A new one at Backscatter, without the battery, sells for $599.

Hi, I’m not sure what you mean by “auto off.” But the MF2 comes with a focus light that has three different power settings. This is very useful for seeing where the flash is pointing. Some night dives, I even used the focus light as my flashlight, even though I had the other two flashlights clipped into my BCD. So, it’s quite useful!

Fyi: auto off is really not needed 99% of the time. The focus light will not impact an image unless you shoot a very slow shutter.
