My husband and I are bouying wrecks for the LDS this weekend. Since it's just the two of us - I thought we'd have some fun and leave a few items for the next divers... I was thinking at 5' a sock, 15' some shorts, 25' a t-shirt.... Right up to 110' with a slate that says "give us five minutes"... You get the picture...

Anyone have any other oddities they've found on bouy lines or any ideas??? Thanks!

If you can get hold of a hand from a mannequin... well, you get the idea...

I'd just make sure it was stuff that would actually stay on the descent line. I'd really hate to come across a sock or shorts on the reef or wreck. I see enough trash down there. =)

kinda like a bra tree at Ski resorts. I like the idea!!! Although in the waters around MI I'd give anyone huge credit for shedding layers!

a glossy womans magazine, the glossy exy ones dont come apart in the water. drill a hole thru it so you can tie it to the line

and a mobile phone (a broken one will do) - i wonder how many would try to turn it on

How about some lost diving gear? A weight belt, old mask, glove, beanie, (broken) dive watch, SNORKEL!!!
People would think they are on a salvage mission, bet they'd bring the stuff up .. so no worries about polluting the wrecks.... ( And the bra and panties too, of course!)

Six pack of beer at 15'...what else is there to do?...lol

Mentioning cell phones...my buddy had his Blackberry vibrate on a safety stop, he forgot it in his fleece...the expression on his face was priceless when it went off.:D

That would be a great idea!! I'd become the most popular diver in the area if I left 'em beer!!! Love the condom idea too.... This just give me LOTS thinkgs to think about!!!
