Storage over the winter...can it be in an noninsulated she'd?

Can scuba tanks be stored over a Canadian winter in an noninsulated shed? Been a number of years since they were used but still have air. Moved to a tiny place with no basement.

Yes. If they are full. Rarely will the temperature change will one's neck oring develop a slow leak, leaving them empty by spring according to a handful of friends. I've not had it myself yet. Otherwise they freeze and thaw fine. Had a dozen down to a few weeks of - 40 and regular winter the rest of the time. Also bought tanks that had been barn/shed Canadian winter stored since the 1980s and were in good condition interior and exterior. No issues and the air was good.

I asked that question years ago and got the same answer. If you're OK at good old - 40 you'll be fine in Brantford.
