Interesting- I had not seen this system before, with removable balls on the ends of the rods... Well, that is one way to do it, but is pretty expensive, it seems to this old miser. I still think my way of making floats from non-compressible foam sheet and clamping two halves around a standard strobe arm with a zip tie is the easiest and cheapest way to do this. I have been using this system for years now, with virtually complete neutral buoyancy on my fairly heavy rig, and it assembles and breaks down with no tools except for a small nipper to cut the zip tie. You can dig up my old postings on this for pictures of how I did it. But to each his own...
