I own a Sony HC-42 DV & Ikelite housing, & found it a nice feature to take a "snapshot" (1 megapixal frame) of footage captured during a dive, via the memory stick featured on this camcorder. When reviewing what I shot for the day, I can just pause, hit the photo button of an ideal frame, & download the image onto my laptop directly from the memory stick. Do other manufacturers have this feature? Granted, 1 megapixal is not great resolution, but it's nice for electronic attachments, emailing, etc. (examples below f/ recent Belize Nekton trip).
