I'm a Fish!
On 101004 at 0640 hours the pager goes off.

I get up, step on our Golden Retriever, grab the pager and while I’m cramming a toothbrush in my mouth I read “Vehicle in water HWY 97 MP 95 at Mineral Ridge Boat Launch”. Get dressed and out the door. At 0644 I check into service.

It’s wet, foggy and I’m in a spare car because mine is still in the body shop. At 0659 I’ve covered the 19.2 miles and I’m the third diver on scene.

S&#%, we can see the vehicle. The only shallow spot on that side of the lake and it finds it. Everything around that area is 70’ or better. I suit up but act as safety as we only needed one in the water. The whole team made it so we were better than covered.

Our only female showed up. She has changed her mind about quitting for now and will stay until we can replace her.

Looks like it was either stolen, we don’t think so, or it’s an insurance scam to get out from under the payments. ;^)

This one was no big deal but the Toyota Landcruiser is now a Toyota Hydrocruiser. I’ll post some pics later.
