Hello, I've been lurking on ScubaBoard for a few weeks. I did my PADI Open water cert in Lake Travis (Texas) in 2003. The class was a gift, I was a broke college student at the time, and couldn't afford to get into diving after that. Two years later, I had a job and some money, so I decided to get into diving. I did a refresher class, bought a BC and regs, and did a few dives at local lakes. Didn't really enjoy my lake experiences, but had a great time on a trip to Cozumel. Then...life got in the way for the next six years. A few months ago I decided to get back into it, and took another refresher course. I just got back from a trip that included a couple days of diving at Cano Island in Costa Rica.

So...here I am, ten years after my OW cert...with 22 dives under my belt. I really want to get into diving, and I am thinking that becoming a part of the scuba community will help me. So, that's why I'm here....
