I've always had an issue with connecting the inflator hose to my quick disconnect post on my stiletto. It looks like the female fitting on the hose hits the zip tie connector that secures the corrugated hose. (Hopefully that is an accurate description). It's really hard to connect at times.

Does anyone else experience this? Can anyone recommend a fix?

Thanks in advance!

Push the Zip tie out of the way. The inflator should be able to be twisted away from the zip tie block.

It's actually not the zip tie block. It's the actual zip tie...

If the female end of the quick disconnect is making contact with the zip tie, then i bet you have a LP that is designed for a drysuit and not a BCD inflator ( yes, some are different) . The quick disconnects tend to be larger so that you can you can pull them quickly in the event they free flow or you have to get out of your gear quickly and have gloves on.

It should not be touching the zip-tie, Zeagle makes some of the most ergonomic BCD inflators that i have used and have never had a problem with them.
