I was diving today in Wiarton, ON. The water temps were 40 at the surface and about 37 at 70-80ft. I dive with a 7' hose on my primary reg and bungeed octo. At the end of the second dive of the day, my buddy and I were doing safety drills, sharing air on our safety stop. He was also using a long hose on his primary with a bungeed octo. At these temps we were both noticing it being very hard to work with the long hoses as they were both very rigid. The drills went alright, but it seemed to be more work to do the drills. My hose is fairly new and is very supple at normal temperatures. Is this something that I should be dealing with or is it just how it is?
