Having just bought 2 HP100's I now need to identify them when I leave them at the shop for fills. What can I stencil my tanks with that won't have an adverse reaction with the galvanizing?

LDS have waterproof paint sticks so you can mark your tank. I highlight my serial number so they are easy to read when I fill my tanks with nitrox.
Here is one brand, Trident U-Mark It Gear Marking Paint.

I put my nickname on the shoulder in sharpie, holds up fine. I had to use silver sharpie because my tanks are black, but other than that they're holding up after 3 years just fine

i use colored zip ties just underneath the valve handle. used to use a sharpie but after a bunch of dives it tends to wear off.

I have had some come in for hydro with dog tag like things ziptied around the neck of the tank. I have to remove these so most of the time I have to cut them off. Just something to think about.

Another +1 for Sharpie...
