Sounds a)expensive b)heavy and c)pointless.

I've seen SS braided sleeves, on other types of hoses, become sharp-pointed wires when fail. (I believe this to be an example, of what Couv is referring to.) 
I just tossed a DGX Stainless HP hose that was leaking at the crimp. Only lasted about a year on my deco reg.
