Staying 2 nights in Saba/diving?

I'm heading to St. Maarten at the end of the month and would like to spend 2 nights in Saba. Most accomodations that I have come across require 2 night minimum. Does anyone know of a place that will book for only 2 nights?

I was looking at Juliana's or El Momo or Scouts. Any recommendation among these 3 places? Also, I will be going solo as my friend has to head back to the states early so a place that has a little bit going on or close to a place to go out and socialize would be great (I know Saba is known more for its tranquility though).

Welcome to ScubaBoard....................Saba is my best dive destination. It starts with the airport. Shortest runway of any international airport in the world. You can't go wrong with Juliana place. Everything that you will want to do is within walking distance. I don't remember the name of the bar that is a couple of blocks away from Juliana but I had a great time everynight I was there. The local rest. are always having something going on. The diving is great. Plus no flying bugs.................................. See you on the bottom.

Contact Lynn at Sea Saba, She is great and will set everything up for you. You will love it. Don't take the ferry from St Martin. Fly and enjoy.

We stayed at El Momo and loved it. It is a 15 minute walk (straight downhill) to the town of Windwardside where the restaurants and bars are. The owners are very friendly and can make you a great dinner too. The walk back up the hill is steep, but it is nice not to be right in the city where it would be noisier.

The people in Saba are extremely friendly. Go to any bar or restaurant and you will find interesting people to talk to. There is a good slide show & dinner at the Brigadoon restaurant. We dove with Sea Saba and were happy with them.

Loved El Momo too -- get the cottage at the very top -- you wake up in the morning and feel like you're at the top of a mountain.

Unfortunately, I just got an email recently that said that the young couple that owned and operated the place were turning it over or selling it. So, get in while you can!

Thanks for the suggestions...I booked a cottage at EcoLodge and will be diving with Sea Saba...I'm looking foward to it!

Don't miss the Diamond Rock and Man of War Shoals dive sites. They are incredible.
