So many models to choose from...

COPIS-Meg
APECS-Meg
Revo
KISS
or the new Prism 2?

I know people diving with each of them and instructors for at least 2 of them.

It would be mostly for cave and deep (saving on helium)

Curious why you have no Vision (AP Diving) units on your list?

If you are looking to go deep I would strike COPIS and KISS from your list. They can do it but not without some tinkering.
My preference would always be the meg though. I have owned one for 8 years and it is one of the few pieces of dive equipment I own that has never let me down.

why no inspiration?

no a big fan of yellow boxes with so many bells and whistles.

I see that you are from Montreal. I know of at least one other diver there with a rEvo.

To get some honest answers from someone that instructs and sells many different units, you should contact Peter Sotis of Add Helium.

Don, it's me, Julie. I know Isabelle. In fact I saw her yesterday.

thanks for the name of add helium.

I'm just starting to check for RB.

We can talk much more about this when I see you in cave country. Obviously you know which one is my personal choice, but I can tell you why and you can decide for yourself.

Ask Isabelle if you can read her book by "Mel Clark". They will give you a lot of clear and simplified information.

I'll ask her.

By the way, I'll be in cave country next week-end
