Growing up in the UP Stannard Rock is known as the best Lake Trout fishing around. I was wondering if anyone has ever dove Stannard Rock?

I don’t know if there are any regulations against it, but I did not see anything on a search of the forums or google. Maybe being a fishing hotspot deters divers from all the lines and boat traffic.

I am not thinking about diving it anytime soon, but I would love to see some videos that people have taken while diving it.

It's an out of the way and remote location with no known dive sites. It would just be a reef system that could have some man made objects on it. If I recall correctly the water right off the rock gets in the 400-700ft range. Any wrecks that deep might as well be on the moon.
