:D:banana:Diving in St. Vincent with Indigo Dive located at Buccament Bay Resort is a dive destination secret which we must share. We spent 7 days at Buccament Bay Resort and we were eager to dive right into the beautiful caribbean water and rinse the rust off our gills. Dive instructor, owner and operator, Kay Wilson could not have been a better host, she and her fabulous crew (James, Dale, Auto, Cia, Andrew & Jay) made our diving experience easy & fun. We did 2 dives a day for 5 days and had access to unlimited shore dives. The young staff is full of life and has plenty of energy. On day one they gathered our gear and we never touched it again until it was time to return it to the dive bags. Each morning our gear was completely put together, ready and on the boat. The only task we had each morning before our dive was getting into the boat, but no one twisted our arm -- that was easy to do. The dives sites provide a variety of beauty: extra large sea fans and sponges bright vibrant beautiful coral, one of the healthiest we have seen. Don’t be shocked to find 3 to 4 lobsters on each dive, crabs, and rare fishes such as a “short nose bat fish” and sea horses. The dives sites provide easy diving, the water was calm, clear, and refreshing. Each day the temperature hovered around 82-84 degrees. There is a beautiful wall & pinnacle dive which will take your breath away and the batcave is a must. The dive sites are no more than a 10-15 minute boat ride away and the dive briefings are to the “T”. Kay, James, and Dale provide informative knowledge of each site because this is their “back yard”. Dale shared his extensive knowledge of the marine life and we appreciated his passion for his work.

While we do travel with our complete dive gear, in touring Indigo Dive’s dive shop we noticed all the dive gear in excellent condition, all provided by ScubaPro. Rest assured if you need to use their dive gear you will be diving in comfort.

Our dive experience with Indigo Dive was “top notch:D”. Kay Wilson and her professional team assisted in making our dive experience a pleasure and a good reason to return in the future to dive with Indigo Dive again.

Thank you! I am headed to the area in just a few days, so any little piece of info I can grab about this part of the world is exciting to read!!

Kay and her team at Indigo Dive are truly the best! I can't wait to get back down there again to dive with her.

Did dive many years ago on Bequia, loved the place and diving. did do a trip to st vincent but i don't think we dove. always wanted to go back as it wasn't much of a tourist destination. black sand beaches for most part. it was mostly an agricultural island. there was one resort that i knew of then (young's island) , it seemed too classy for me. anyway would like to hear more about Buccament Bay Resort and St. Vincent.
