Just got back from STT. I went diving with Admiralty Dive Center. Duane, Laura and John
were outstanding. Extremely competent, professional and knowlegable. Will dive with them again. Went for 1 day with another outfit, dissapointed.

Thanks; I enjoy diving with Duane and his team when I am over in St T. Has Duane had a haircut yet? ;)

Do you feel comfortable naming the operator who gave you a less satisfactory experience?

I'm going to the Southern Caribean in 10 days. Whats a "must" island to dive between St. Kitt, St. Thomas, Barbados, and St Lucia?

Duane I guess has not had a recent haircut. My experience with the other dive shop was dissappointing for a couple of reasons. I am extremely economical with air supply and I was forced to terminate my dive early, on both dives, because of other divers. They also dummied down the dive to the least experienced & The crew, except for the captain, was not as professional as Admiralty. As I said I will use Admiralty again next winter.

You should consider Saba. Volcanic in geology, similar to Dominica and to a lesser extent St Lucia.

In June 2008 we went out with the St. Thomas Diving Club while on a day stop on a cruise. We booked our charter with WreckChick and she was even able to pick us up and drive us back to the ship. We had a wonderful day with dives at Buck Island Point (76', 49 mins) and Dive Flag Rock (66', 57 mins). Water temperatures were 84 F at the surface and 82 F at depth for both dives. Beautiful day, 50'+ visibilities and lots of marine life, a wonderful day was had by all!

Assuming it's the same long-haired Duane who worked with my wife & I while Marty captained back on April '06, both were great. Really put my wife at ease; she was nervous & that was no mean feat. This was on a 1 day stop on our honeymoon cruise. If I were headed back to St. Thomas, I'd look to book Admiralty. My wife & I were very satisfied.

By the way, it was a referral, & he handled the last 2 open water checkout dives for PADI OW for us.

Richard.
