Hi all,

My family, my in-laws, and my brother in law and one of his kids are going to St. Thomas for Christmas week.

We are stoked.

Wife, brother in law and I are all divers. We are looking to do a day or two of diving while in St. Thomas and need a recommendation of how to go about it.

Is there decent shore diving, or should we book a boat trip or two? BIL has been to Hawaii diving a few times and wife and I have done 2 live aboards and on trip to Cozumel.

Thanks a ton!

I'll plug my local boat...

St Thomas Diving Club!

Management has recently changed and I could not be happier with the new staff. Some of the nicest, most knowledgeable local divers around. They can cater to all levels of diver skill and are very accommodating when it comes to personal preferences regarding gear handling and divemastering.

Oh, and I work on the same property so if I don't dive with you, I can meet you for a post-dive libation!

Rachel

I should add-We are staying at Bluebeard's Beach Club. It is my Brother in Law's time share.

You can shore dive at Coki Beach, but it's not very exciting. I'd book at boat in this destination.

Wreckchick, your mailbox is full and cannot accept any pm"s

My son had fun diving from the beaches, he was accompanied by non diving snorkelers so he just did beach dives with the snorkelers overhead; still he enjoyed it very much

I have no info about the location as I haven't been there.

Just wanted to comment on how incredible of a trip that it sounds to be!

Awesome!!
