Looking for dive recommendations. Going to be in st thomas 18th of October from 7am until noon. Advanced diving and we are ok with just squeezing in a shore dive if it is worth it. We are also lionfish hunters and don't mind just killing a bunch to help the locals.

East end of the island is great, just got back from Secret Harbor, posted a trip report for reference. Great dive sites just 10min boat ride out, shore dives are cool too. Check out Aqua Action dive center based at the resort.

When I researched dive shops for my cruise trip early 2020, I was looking for someone close to the cruise ship terminal. Below are 3 of them - as it was then, the time wouldn't work for you (if you have only until noon), but maybe they have changed their times and go out earlier.

No worries. I actually reached out to aqua action. They have a house reef we can shore dive from which makes it very east to squeeze some dives in.
