Looking for a bit of advice.

Been researching and my husband and I are planning a dive trip (8 days) to St. Lucia the first week of January.

We are seriously considering staying at the Villa Beach Cottages (like the kitchens and smaller "resort").

Any ideas or experiences with the Villa Beach Cottages??

We are looking at 2 different dive operators Frogs and Dive Fair Helen. Can anyone share their experiences/opinions??

THANKS!!

Panga Man:

Thanks for the reply, the website for the cottages says they are located in Choc Bay on the NW coast of the island. Do you think we should consider staying down south? It looks like there are a lot of dive sites south.

We dive with a "smaller operation" in Belize that we love (Chuck and Robbie's) and, actually, Frogs kinda sounds like the same kind of operation. What did you like about them? Any things to know/consider/plan for if we dive with them?

Thanks again!

Tommy at frogs would be similar to what you experienced in belize. He is a smaller operation that will take care of you. And he is a super nice guy.

Choc Bay is a good location, I dont recommend staying in the south because of the lack of things to do. If I were you I would stay as close to Rodney Bay as I could. Thats where everything is at.

Also be sure to take some time to do a day trip to Marigot Bay, its probably the prettiest place I have ever been.

When are yall going down? I will be moving there for about 7 years in august so I might be around when yall are down there.

When you do go be sure to eat at
1. Tequila Joes for lunch
2. Big Chef for dinner / Unbelievably good steaks and seafood / Pricey
3. Rituals Coffee shop for breakfast and the best gyros on the planet!
4. Key Largo Pizza for lunch or dinner
5. Fire grill / cool place where they have mini webber grills in the center of the table where you cook your food.

All of these are in Rodney Bay

Yall will have a blast, I absolutely love it down there.
