What is the condition of the river. I heard they started ice breaking? Some of us are itching to come up and get wet, thinking the Islander in A Bay.

Dan

yea the breaker went through last week. and the seaway is officially open. its getting better everyday. however alot of the sheltered bays are still iced in and who knows for how long with this winter. the bays with moving water are fair
ly open as well. hope this helps.

How is the ice situation doing? Islander divable yet?

I just went up to A-bay and checked out the water on Friday the 11th. All the ice was gone and it looked diveable from the dock there. I have no one to dive with since the guy I used to go with moved away. If anyone needs someone to go with please hit me up. imjustsittinghere@hotmail.com

Water is up to 44F as of yesterday. It's getting downright warm in the river :D

Mat.

Dove the Islander yesterday. The vis wasn't the greatest I have seen there. Maybe about 20-30 feet. It was sunny when we went under but overcast when we came up, so. 43 degrees is what my guage showed. None of the fish are out at all. They are just hanging out in the cracks of the rocks northeast of the wreck.
