Anybody have any "issues" leaving St Kitts with a canister light. I'm hoping that their security personnel aren't as stupid as the ones in Great Exuma.

I have left and entered St Kitts with all sorts of Dive Gear and my UW Video Gear.
Customs and Security tend to be very interested, quite rightly in anything that is unusual!
My Video housing always causes "interest".
Problems often stem from the fact that the security personnel have not had the exposure to dive gear and quite honestly have no idea what they are looking at!
A clear, polite, calm explanation usually solves the problem.
Of course, airline travel being what it is today, who feels calm when they get off a plane?????
Kittians are normally very friendly and polite people, particulary accomodating to tourists, but like security people everywhere, have the capacity to be "difficult".
My best advice put on your "island head" before you get off the plane, relax, you are in paradise.
Enjoy your stay and your diving!

I always take along my U/W housing and dive computer instruction manual in my carry-on to show the airport security, but I haven't had to use it yet.
