Can anyone recommend a dive shop in or near St George? We will be in St George 10/2-10/4 on a cruise ship and would like to book a couple days of diving and a night dive. The only one I can find online is Triangles, which seems a bit pricy ($150 w/equipment for a 2-tank dive). Any recomendations?

I live down here and have used all the operators. Triangle happens to be the only operation in or near St Georges. I believe they will pick you up at your ship. $110/two tank dive is pretty standard in Bermuda and that just includes tanks and weights. That being said, Triangle is a great operation and you won't be disappointed with the crew, service, and choice of dive sites. (FYI, the only operators in all of Bermuda are Triangle, Dive Bermuda, and Blue Water Divers)

I am also going to be staying in St. Georges in early October and was just about to post the same question. Thanks for the info. I guess I will try Triangle Diving.

NJDiver85, can a dive bag fit in the scooter basket and strapped down to go to and from Triangle Divers? They are at Grotto Bay, correct? From what I remember of the scooters they should be able to hold my loaded dive bag.

I guess the answer is that it all depends on the size of your dive bag and the strength of the scooter basket. If you're visiting on a ship, as has already been pointed out, they will pick you up in St. G and there's no need to scooter to Grotto Bay. If you're staying at a guest accomodation, just ask them to stop in St.G, chances are pretty good they will be willing to. Or, if things won't all fit in the basket, you won't be the first person seen driving down the road with a wetsuit and bc on.
