True, and St. John your can just relax.

Go to St Thomas and hop the ferry to Virgin Gorda. The diving there is spectacular. As far as the USVI's are concerned, go to St. Croix.

The biggest advantage St. Croix has is there is a wall very close to shore. They also have a few wrecks, but that's about it.

If you want variety, I'd suggest St. Thomas who has many little islands with reefs, and alot of wrecks. The reefs are in excellent condition, especially on the south west side of the island.
