Hello all,

I apologize if this is in the wrong area. I booked my first dive on the Garloo. We will be diving the SS Oregon on Sunday, August 27th. Very excited about this trip. :D Has anyone ever dived this wreck before? Any advice about the wreck? Are there any good artifacts to bring home? Thanks, safe diving all.
Tim

The wreck is great for artifacts. There are many bottles to be found because the wreck is over a site they used to dump garbage many years ago. The cargo of the Oregon was rather eclectic so you never know what you will find.

Watch your navigation as it is pretty broken up and spread over a wide area.

See www.aquaexplorers.com for Dan Berg's great wreck database.

the cargo that the S.S. Oregon was carrying, was varied, but, the ship has been pretty much picked clean. anything salvageable, has been taken off. my team has been researching the wreck between the Oregon and the Charles H Morse
