SR-1 Noise

I have had two SR1s in the past month with the same noise....leasurepro could not fix it so they sent it in to Sherwood, they kept it for two weeks and finally leasurepro sent me a new one on Monday-15-2009, I was in the water Tuesday the 16th and I'll be jiggered if the same noise is still there....so now I'm sending it back Thursday the 18th.
So now leasurepro is sending me the Atomic "M1" as a replacement....
any opinion on the M1? I was really looking at the Scubapro MK25T/S600T Titanium Regulator, opinions on that one to are welcomed also.

...umm, if Leisurepro is already sending you an M1, in a way it doesn't really matter about the Scubapro, since the 'decision' has already been made...or am I missing something ? I have no experience with the Scubapro reg...however, I have owned/dove an M1 for a few years now and it's an excellent/proven performer...you'll be perfectly happy with it and will forget about the Sherwood SR1...that Sherwood reg has had a history of 'issues' which you can discover if you do a Scubaboard 'search' and read up on it.

no, your not really missing anything at all I just have the option to send the M1 back if I don't like it, thats all. as far as diving I dive all year round.
I have had two reg's freeze up on me and I don't really dig that but as everyone will tell me "it's my fault for the freeze up" yes I did do a search and your quite right the SR-1 sucks. as I'm typing this I have already received the M1 and have 6 dives with it already and it is working for me very well. I do not understand this heat sink thing, can you explane how it's supposed to work for me.
