Well big business is big business, what do you all think of the Sprint/Nextel merger?

I am with Sprint at the moment, my workplace uses Nextel, mostly on the walkie talkie as its free to get hold of folks out on sites. I know my Sprint signal is zero many times off the beaten track, maybe this is a good move by them and i can get signal in the dead zones, just as long as my phone doesnt do that annoying walkie talkie beeping thing every time i talk ;)

I was with AT&T and I switched to Cingular, then Cingular bought AT&T. Go figure.
But what I want to know, will it be the Sprint-Nextel cup for NASCAR?

I think the Sprint-Nextel merger is a good thing. I'm curious to see how they manage to combine the networks though, since they are two different technologies. I wonder how much the end user is going to have to pay for replacing their phones or if there will be a need to do it at all.

On the NASCAR question, I wonder if they'll just change the name to Sprint racing. lol
