IIRC, the "strap 1" is the type that works on the twin jets, because the TJ's have a "pin" connector.

Yes, the Twins take the same as the regular Jets. I put my Jet up against a Twin, with a spring strap I made, last night. The springs I make for Jets will work just fine. Simply remove the pins holding the buckles on & crimp the stainless rods on my spring straps into the holes. It'll fit like this:
Definitely Number 1 option.
